Randy Luke Willard

Randy was born on January 5, 1981, to Rick and Dallas Willard in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in Farmington, New Mexico, where he graduated from Farmington High School in 1999.

From a very early age, Randy was deeply passionate about flying and pursued aviation with everything he did. Over the years, his talent and dedication allowed him to fly many different aircraft, including helicopters and floatplanes. At the time of his passing, he was flying as a cargo pilot with PlaneMasters. He was also part owner of SpringAir Charter Service.

Randy also proudly served his country in the South Carolina National Guard from 2008 to 2014. During his service, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Above all his adventures in the sky, Randy was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emily; his son, Jack; and his cherished dog, Roux. He is also survived by his parents, Rick (Glenda) Willard and Dallas Willard; his brothers, Scott and Cody (Keely); and his nieces and nephews, Anna, Wyatt, Max, Raquel, Miles, Camille, Micah, and Iverin. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow aviators.

A memorial service to celebrate Randy's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. Family visitation will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Final Victory Animal Rescue in Randy's name.
