

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Rick Bruce Corley, 66, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Lexington United Methodist Church with entombment in Woodridge Memorial Park and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Lexington United Methodist Church, 309 E. Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.
Mr. Corley was born February 28, 1945 in Greenwood, SC and passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. He was a son of the late Joe David Corley and Edna Nabors Corley. He was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. Rick was a graduate of Clinton High School and Presbyterian College. He was president and owner of Corley Security Systems, Inc. and Corley Lock and Key Shop. Mr. Corley was a member of SC Ducks Unlimited and also an avid fisherman.
Mr. Corley is survived by his beloved wife of forty-four years, Linda White Corley of Lexington; daughters, Stephanie C. Wark and husband, Derek of Bermuda Run, NC and Kathryn C. Harrison of Lexington; grandchildren, Ashley and Mitchell Wark and Kimball and Winston Harrison; brother-in-law, Dr. William Harris of Greenwood; sisters-in-law, Karen Balderson (Bobby) of Isle of Palms, Marilyn Welborn (Scott) of Lexington, Janie Anderson of Georgetown and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald David Corley and sister, Linda Corley Harris. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
