LEXINGTON - Richard Steven Culliver, 9, was granted his angel wings on ¬¬¬Sunday, August 24 , 2014. His final days were spent surrounded by family and close friends.
On October 4, 2012, Richard was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, Diffuse Intrisic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). In Richard’s short but very full life, he touched the hearts of many. He united and impacted the lives of people not only in the Lexington community but around the world. His faith in God never waivered during his time here on Earth.
Richard loved watching WWE, playing Xbox with his brother and friends, and was a very proud Pittsburg Steeler’s fan. He enjoyed new experiences and was always ready for the next adventure. He and his sister, Rheagan, were always delighted when they received visits from Cocky and the USC Gamecock cheerleaders.
Richard changed many lives for the better and taught us to love unconditionally by always seeing the best in everyone he met. His strength and courage will never be forgotten. Richard’s journey will live on forever.
