IRMO - Mr. Di Chiara, 76, was born July 5, 1937 in Boston, MA and passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013. He was an avid gardener and he loved cooking. Robert was proud of being a first generation American Citizen.
Surviving are his wife, Terry Lynn Thomas Di Chiara of Irmo; sons, Michael Di Chiara of Houlton, ME, Gregg Di Chiara (Joli) of Portsmouth, NH and Kevin Di Chiara of Mendon, MA; daughter, Brandy (Patrick) Vander Ploeg of Columbia, SC; sister, Antoinette Cinelli of Franklin, MA and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
