She was a daughter, sister, aunt, and mother which she was the proudest. Devoted mother to Mark and Michael which took a backseat when she became a grandmother, her most rewarding role in life. Mikey, Danielle, and Connor made her heart beat with pure love. Born in Pennsylvania, she lived most of her life there mostly in the Delaware County area.
Bobbie enjoyed traveling, telling the story of when she was younger shook Jimmy Hoffa’s hand at a Bell Telephone union meeting. She enjoyed working at UPS for a short time where she made a few lifelong friends. Shortly after she pursued a career as a Legal Secretary for her “Baby” brother Tom’s law firm, where she spent 20 plus years before retiring and moving to South Carolina to be with family. To know Bobbie you knew she loved her family especially her “Boys”, who also shared her love of ice hockey, summers at the shore and spending time with her niece, Deb. Bobbie loved to live it up with long weekends spent at the casino with her brother, Tom and his wife, Wanda. Enjoying many times spent with friends over the years, creating one story to the next. She was known to always be quick witted and full of fun sarcastic humor.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her son, Mark Alex Mizerny (2012) and brother, Thomas McLaughlin (2020). She is survived by her son, Michael J Mizerny (Joanne); grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Danielle, and Connor; sister, Patricia; many nieces and nephews, as well as many, many great friends.
The family is planning a memorial service in Pennsylvania at a later date.
If Bobbie was your friend, you had a friend for life!
