Ronald was the son of Eugene Leslie Roan and Annie Marie Barksdale Roan. He is survived by his brothers Casey (Suzette) Roan, Jerry (Chontelle) Allen, and Mark (Ramona) Allen. Ronald is lovingly remembered by his three children, Brandy (Kyle) Holt, April Bradshaw, and Parker Roan, as well as his six adored grandchildren; Scout Holt, Nash Holt, Roan Holt, Koy Bradshaw, Anderson Bradshaw, and Nolan Bradshaw.
A graduate of Fort Myers High School’s Class of 1971 and a retired United States Navy veteran, Ronald led a life marked by dedication and pride. His role as a father and grandfather brought him immense joy; he delighted his family with thoughtful gifts and enjoyed the affectionate nicknames "Old Man” and “Rocket” given to him by family and friends.
Ronald found happiness in playing golf, fishing, grilling, and in breakfast favorites like grits and coffee. A devoted sports fan, he cheered enthusiastically for all Florida teams and Purdue University (Boiler Up!). Music was another of his great loves, alongside hobbies such as darts and bowling. Known for his polished sense of style and warm personality, Ronald made every gathering brighter with his presence.
