ALMIGHTY God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come; knowing that thou art doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It is difficult to accept that Russ is gone. Growing up as cousins in North Adams, our families were always back and forth spending time together. Time seems to stand still when you are young, but as I get older, I now realize how quickly it goes and that we all need to take the time to stay in touch. I am sorry I have not done so. My condolences to all.

We are so sorry for your loss. My son is the one who got Mr. Fitzgerald's wife into my husband's boat until help could arrive. I am on staff at a church and your entire family has been on our church prayer list. We will continue to lift you to the Lord in the coming days. My Dear Cousin Russ, Bon Voyage. The memories of our youth, visiting back and forth between Maine and Mass. are indelible and filled with warmth. The thoughts we shared as teenagers and young adults are as vibrant as ever in my memory, and the lessons learned from you during our talks as we navigated the emerging world of adulthood still reverberate in my soul. Thank you for your friendship in life and the everlasting bond in eternity. With love, your cousin Tim

I will miss you so much. I am so thankful for the time I have spent with you, and need to thank you for some of the best memories of my life. I have learned more about my dad in the past two years than I have in my life, just by sitting on your back deck until 2:00 in the morning listening to you and dad tell stories of "remember when" I will forever cherish you and all the memories you helped build. My love always....
