WARD – Russell Lee Lewis, 59 passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Born July 23, 1953, he was a son of Shirley Ann Nelson and the late Russell Q Lewis. He was a member and past commander of the VFW 6740. Russell was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country in the United States Air Force.
Surviving are 3 sons, Rusty, Dickie and Randal; mother, 3 sisters; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to VFW 6740, 950 Rock N Creek Road, Leesville, SC 29070. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
