COLUMBIA- In loving memory of Samuel D. Coleman,
born August 26, 1958 in Tachikawa, Japan to Lt. Harry E. and Virginia B. Coleman. Samuel was a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School,
Columbia, SC and joined the US Navy in 1975. He served on the USS John F. Kennedy, the USS Coral Sea and the USS Forrestal. He was honorably discharged 1992. Samuel worked for AOL until 2002. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Marilyn Helen Coleman of Ontario Canada; his father, Harry Earl Coleman; brother, Michael Lee Coleman of Dallas, Texas and a number of cousins; 2 half sisters and a half brother; 11 nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Amos Disasa officiating.
