Sandra W. McIver

Mrs. Sandra “Sandy” McIver passed away September 11, 2026. She was born December 13, 1941, to the late Robert C. Wiggs and Pearl Pearce Wiggs. She was the wife of Donald Jackson McIver.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Lexington Baptist Church, 308 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.

The family will greet friends before and after the service in the chapel.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Shelton Wiggs, her twin sister, Lindra Nell, and granddaughter, MiKayla Joy Janz.

She is survived by her husband Donald “Don” Jackson McIver, and her children June [Johnny] Janz, Dan McIver, Amy [John] Cox, and Wes [Debbie] McIver as well as 8 beloved grandchildren: Torry, Kylie, Brayden, Danielle, Nathan, Rachel, Kolby, and Bryce. She also rejoiced in her 4 great-grandchildren: Palmer, Jones, Bennett, and Raina.

The family extend a special ‘Thank You!’ to the Senior Adults Ministry at Lexington Baptist Church for their visits over the years.

Also, a special thanks to the staff at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care, who work in the Lexington Trace wing, for their compassionate care for Sandy and their Dad, Don McIver who is still a resident there.
