Sharon Holine Graham

Sharon Holine Graham, 87 of Lexington, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday October 8, 2026. Born December 3, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma she was the only child of Holland Harmon Bowels and Pauline Frances Bowles (nee Brewer).

Sharon graduated from Sand Springs High School in Oklahoma where she met her loving Husband, James Duane Graham and was married for 47 years until his passing.

Always curious and mindful of any new events happening in her family’s lives, Sharon was a loving and supportive mother and Nana. She cared deeply for us and kept memories of us in her heart and home. Sharon loved to read, spend time with her friends at Wellmore, and take care of her faithful companion Caroline.

A woman full of life and happiness who lit up family gatherings, Sharon was willing to help with any of her family's concerns. It’s not only the big acts that will be remembered, but her being there in every small moment.

Preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and cousin, Shirley Backward, who she loved like a sister. Sharon is survived by her sons - Mark (Kris) Graham of Ohio and Shawn Graham of Lexington. Also surviving are four grandchildren David, Jason, Katy and Emily Graham and her adored feline Caroline.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wellmore of Lexington on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. A family funeral service will be held in the afternoon.

She will be lovingly and greatly missed by all her family.
