COLUMBIA – Shirley Timmons Craft, 83, born May 27, 1936 of Columbia, SC entered into rest Saturday, August 3, 2019 after a long and courageous battle. She was the daughter of the late Homer T. Timmons and Eula Davis Martin.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Cayce, SC and a graduate of University High School in Columbia, SC.
She worked with Aflac Insurance Company as an Agent and District Manager for many years and was revered by both colleagues and clients.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Mason Craft, and her brother, Homer T. Timmons.
Mrs. Craft is survived by two children, Joe Dean Craft (Lori) and Angela C. Campbell; brothers, William Earl Timmons and Gerald C. Timmons; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her joy and mission in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The times she shared with them were precious moments in her life. Losing Mason was heartbreaking for her and she continually grieved for Joey, Amanda and family. She was very appreciative of her children’s love and devotion during her extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC.
