LEXINGTON – Funeral services for SSG Spencer Andrew Shirey, 25, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Shirey was born January 11, 1992 in West Columbia, SC and passed away Monday, June 26, 2017. He was a beautiful soul, a brave soldier, a loving son and brother, a loyal friend and treasure to all who knew him. If you knew him, you loved him. He will live on in our hearts forever. Never forgotten, always loved. “Until we meet again, our handsome angel.”
Surviving are his wife, Liza G. Shirey; parents, George and Patty Boatwright; sisters, Kaitlyn Kistler, Laura Corley (Jared), Kennedy Boatwright and nephew, Starnes Corley. Also surviving are his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
