Suzanne M House

WEST COLUMBIA - Suzanne McMillan House died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond House and two daughters, Karen Borkowski (Chris) of Winston-Salem, NC and Suzanne House of West Columbia, SC. She is also survived by two sisters, Eloise McMillan and Colly Johnson; two brothers, Tom McMillan and Robert McMillan.

She was born on July 7, 1944 in Orangeburg, SC to Thomas “Sandy” McMillan and Suzanne Wilson McMillan. She grew up in Oak Ridge, TN and Barnwell, SC. She was a graduate of Barnwell High School and The University of South Carolina with a degree in English and Library Science. She was formerly a teacher at Floyds High School.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A private funeral with family members will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Gregory Fulcher, Dr. Vijaya Korrapati and Hospice Care of Tri County.
