Thomas loved the mountains, wildlife, and was an avid Clemson fan. He was a Green Beret and loved his country. He was also generous with helping the less fortunate.
He is survived by his wife, Starr M. Belk; daughters, Karen Monts (Clint) and Bridgette Thayer (Charlie); son, Joseph G. Belk; grandson, Colton Walker; sister, Meleda Belk Stephens; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark Belk.
A memorial service will be held for Thomas at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Ln., Columbia, SC 29210.
