PELION - Valerie Anne Scupp Kopack, 40, of Pelion, SC passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at home with her family. Born, October 24, 1973, in Newfoundland Canada, she spent her childhood in East Brunswick NJ and was currently residing in Pelion, SC. Valerie has lived in South Carolina for the last 30 years.
Valerie was an ROTC member in High School; her friends and family were her priority in life. She had a passion for beading, making many gifts for her family and friends. Music was her other passion, Bon Jovi, her favorite band. She was the daughter of Wayne Ralph and Anne Marie (Merski) Scupp: wife to David E. Kopack; mother of Aaron “Chase” Weatherford; sister to Wayne Michael, Katie and Amanda Scupp and granddaughter of Ralph Scupp.
She has many aunts and uncles, family and friends throughout New Jersey and Virginia,
Valerie was predeceased by her grandparents, Edward and Marie Merski of Parlin, NJ and Catherine Scupp of East Brunswick, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
