Will be praying for the family. For you will deeply miss him. But someday you will embrace each other again in new glorious bodies with Jesus in heaven.
I remember him driving his Chevy corvair and dishwashing at Tops Bigboy in high school.

Dear. Barnes family
May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences,
I admired Bill for his strength of character and his faith. I will continue to be inspired by his actions and what he said to me. He will live in my and HOGF children’s memories.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. In this time of loss, we pray that you find comfort in God’s loving acceptance. Lean on Him for strength and solace.
Bill was a testament to God’s love on earth, showing kindness and strength in equal measure. Bill was the man of God who inspired me in ministry. You were the friend who stood with me in my difficult time. May God’s love and presence bring you comfort during this difficult time. Bill is now resting safely in the arms of our Lord. We HOGF, Pune, India holding you close in our prayers.

Billy was an amazing mentor to me as a young adult as well as a man of wisdom from the Word. His fingerprint will forever leave an impact on my life. His life was most definitely one that impacted those around him because of the christ within him and that very life of christ lives on in us. Until then see you in awhile brother. The race was steady and constant, we'll done crossing the finish line. Shalom

Our hearts and prayers go out for you Barnes Family with the passing of Bill. Bill's passion for God's word lives on in our hearts as we witnessed him changing lives here at Mercy Ships through his Bible teaching in our Mercy Ships Community. He knew how to laugh and knew how to be serious. We will miss him until we see him again in Eternity. We love you all, Wade and Sharon Cox

Bill will forever be one of my favorite people 🩷 He always made me smile and laugh with his one liners! :) I will never forget you Bill!! Thank you for loving my family like you did. No one will ever replace who you were to us. Rest with the Lord and we’ll love on Lou.

Mr. Bill was someone I always looked forward to seeing when I went to work. He made the day so much better especially when I was extra tired from being pregnant and the running joke we had with it because I'm bad at remembering things. It feels unreal that he's not here and like it was just yesterday we ran into each other at the grocery store. Mr. Bill will be missed by so so many.

Mr bill when I came to the bakery u thought me so I'm so glad I got to work with you and I'm so sad to get this new but I will keep your family in prayer 🙏 every day u will be missed S.I.P

What a great loving friend, godly man, full of wisdom and a very generous heart. I have great memories of time spent with you in India and USA.
I thank God for the friendship with Bill. You understood Mission and made a big impact on many lives in India and all without making a big deal about it. You stood with us during the most difficult times. Connected us with great people.
You played a big role in my life and minintry in India.
You, Luanne and Xanders welcomed me and made me feel at home on my visit.
Some of the significant ‘Firsts’ are with you
- my first cell phone ( blackberry)
- first laptop
- first person to pick me on my first visit to US
- first to introduce me to many things in US
- first person to show me Walmart
- first burger in US , Chilly, American cheeses with you,
- first person to teach me to make Coffee ( I loved the way you made your coffee and remember your coffee machine) . Before that I knew only about instant coffee.
There are so many things to write, Bill!
You Blessed me, my family and ministry!
You will be greatly missed. Wish I could be there to say final goodbye, but no worries we will meet one day in the glorious heaven !
Your love and commitment for the Lord made huge impact on my life.

Bill and I were Classmates at Warrensburg. We lived about a block from each other. I saw him at his Father's visitation. Sorry to his family for the loss.

It is impossible to think of Bill without thinking about his smile, his faith and his love. Well done good and faithful servant. All my love to the family.

Although I knew Bill for Iess than 10 years, I enjoyed every minute of time I spent with him. From fun banter to deep conversations about people and faith, he was anlways engaged and loving. One memory was when I was listening to a catholic commentary about the book of Maccabee, my first call was to Bill and he walked me through a history of the book and application to the Bible story without hesitation. We ended the call with him saying to call him any time. And I did. I will miss those wonderful calls.

I met Bill in August, when we began preparations to take the message of “Good News” into Broad River Prison with the local Kairos Prison Ministry team. I was fortunate to be assigned as his mentor for his first Kairos weekend experience. The certainty of his faith was immediately apparent. I trust, as he does, in the sure promise of life eternal given us by our Lord and Redeemer. My condolences to his family who are grieving. I pray that they might be comforted in the Presence of the Triune God and strengthened in the Word of God that Bill is not dead, Bill is only resting in the arms of Jesus. One day soon, we will be together again.
