LEXINGTON – William “Bill” Lee Bishop Jr. passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. He was the son of William Lee Bishop Sr. and the late Dorothy “Dot” Belk Bishop. Bill was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lexington. He was a longtime salesman with Handi-Clean. Bill is survived by his daughters, Heather and Kali Bishop; son, Trey Bishop all of Lexington; 1 grandchild; sister, Carol Diamond and husband, Bob Jack of Charlotte; brother, Walter Bishop and wife, Debbie of Winston Salem and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tina Bishop and sister, Marilyn Crawford.
Services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lexington at 12:00 noon. Wednesday, October 7, 2015. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service in the sanctuary. Bill will be buried in Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte, NC immediately following. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, God’s Miracle Fund. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
