William H. Kirkley, MD of Columbia, SC passed away on January 23, 2025. He was born in Charlotte, NC on January 27, 1948. He was the son of William and Leighton Kirkley.

He is survived by his wife, Ann and sister, Patricia Lynne.

He was predeceased by his mother, Leighton; father, William; and sister, Anne.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 400 River Road, Columbia, SC.

Thank you to all who have reached out to recognize Bill and lend support to his family. We take great comfort in knowing that Bill was embraced by all who knew his kindness, creativity and sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congaree National Park, Doctors Without Borders, and Philip Simmons Artist Blacksmith Guild.
