William Bradford Lott, 91, of Lexington died Thursday, May 7, 2020. Born on March 22, 1929 in Carroll County, MS, he was a son of the late Louie and Fannie Lott. He was a US Army Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean War. He attended Holmes Junior College and later graduated from Mississippi State University. He worked for the US Department of Agriculture until his retirement and later with Clemson Extension Service. He worshiped and enjoyed fellowship at Lexington United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his breakfast buddies, hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends at the local feed or sports shop.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Peggy Ingram Lott; his children, Mark Lott (Evelyn) of Florence, Marsha Sumner (Paul) of Chapin, Susan Lott of Lancaster, and Dana Tucker (Craig) of Greenville; grandchildren, Kellen and Taylor Lott, Adam (Adryn) and Alan Sumner, and Caroline and Brad Tucker; great grandchild, Caz Sumner; as well as wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers and one sister.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lexington United Methodist Church. Memories and condolences may be shared at caughmanlexington.com.
