“The Mountains are calling and I must go.”- John Muir

William “Bill” Lloyd Wood, age 78, of Lexington, SC, was called home on October 7, 2020. He was born on April 23, 1942 in Clifton, SC to Floyd and Christine Wood.

Mr. Wood provided me with many fond childhood and adult memories. I enjoyed his wit and sense of humor. He and Terri together were like a comedy routine! During my High School years, I spent about as much time over at Terri's house as I did my own and I always felt so comfortable. Terri's Dad was always a big part of that. But it did help when I brought my Video Disc player over! He was always such a movie buff, and especially loved the old classics like "Psycho"! He will be missed and I will be praying for the whole Wood family. Tammy and Trina, please look after my best friend for me! Take care and I love you all! Paula (Shull) Mulkey

I was so fortunate to have met Mr. Wood at such an important part of my life. I spent a majority of my high school years with his family. Mr. Wood was always so kind, caring, genuine and funny. Every single memory that I have of him is wonderful.

The legacy of a man is the family legacy that he creates. Mr. Wood not only treated me with dignity and respect, but every single member of the Wood Family treated me the same way.

I was so blessed for every single minute that I had with them.

So sorry for your family's loss. I know how close you are and can only imagine how difficult this time is. He is now whole again and walking tall. Find comfort in the many memories you made together and know that you are being lifted in prayer for comfort and peace.
