IN THE CARE OF
Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home
Jason W. Moses, 49, of West College Corner died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Kettering Health Hamilton.
Jason was born to James Moses and Carol Ridenour Begley on October 16, 1973. He attended and graduated from Union County High School with the class of 1992. After graduation, Jason enlisted in the United States Marines, from which he was honorably discharged. Jason married his high school sweetheart, the former Amy Nixon, on March 29, 1997 at Brookville Road Baptist Church, in Bath, Indiana. He was a self-employed truck driver and carpenter for many years. Jason was truly a jack of all trades, always keeping busy working on different projects. He was very fond of hanging out with his friends, enjoying a cold beer. He didn’t know a stranger and was willing to help anyone he could. Jason loved his family and he will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.
Jason is survived by his loving wife of twenty-five years: Amy; son: A.J. Moses; brother: Jerrod Moses and his wife Rochelle; sisters: Michelle Chumley and husband Harry, Mandy Clapper and husband Shawn, Shannon Moses; many extended family members including nieces, nephews and friends, too numerous to mention.
In addition to his father, Jason is preceded in death by his brothers: Brent Begley, Brandon Begley; in-laws: John and Jayma Nixon.
A celebration of life, with a memory sharing opportunity for anyone who would like to participate, will be conducted at 7:00p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Baker Chapel, College Corner. Friends may visit the funeral home from 4:00pm., until time of sharing.
