Jill Renee Montgomery

Jill Renee Montgomery, 42, of Richmond died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Arbor Trace Nursing Home in Richmond. Jill was born in Richmond, September 8, 1975 to Vance and Carol Baylis Montgomery. Jill was a special person in the lives of the people who took care of her and loved her. She had experiences on family trips, boating and celebrating everyday life. Jill's sense of humor was unique. She laughed at other people's stumbles and loved slapstick, like the 3 Stooges. Besides people watching, TV was her main form of entertainment. Jill most enjoyed her time with family, friends and caretakers. A special thanks is extended to everyone who loved and cared for her over the years. She was loved. Jill is survived by her parents, Vance and Carol Montgomery of Richmond; her brother and sister-in-law: Mark and Carla Montgomery of Brownsville, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jill is preceded in death by her nieces, Sara and Cara Montgomery. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. Interment will follow in Richland Cemetery in Union County. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
