Ruth and family -- So sorry to learn of your loss. As a couple, I always admired your devotion to each other, your family, your community, and your faith. You two have certainly been a fine example of our Quaker Christian beliefs in practice for all who knew you.

Dear Ruth and all,

Reading Julian's obituary was like going back in time for me. Just thinking of the times spent in your home as youth group leaders made me smile. I remember the egg pass game on spoons in your living room was especially challenging. You loved us and we loved you.

I am sorry for your loss but like when Dad was transformed and went peacefulling home this summer I hope Julian's ascent was sweet and calm, I love the fact that he was able to die at home.

Thinking of you, enjoying the knowledge of Christs salvation and that we will be reunited with those who are so dear.
