Robert Jacob Frasur
February 2, 1932 – March 18, 2020
Robert “Bob” J. Frasur, 88, of Liberty, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Reid Hospital of Richmond. A Union County native, Bob was born on February 2, 1932, to Joseph and Eleanor Schneider Frasur. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and after many years of service, retired from Ford Motor Company, as an inspector.
Bob was an avid member of the AMVETS of Connersville, and the Liberty V.F.W. and a past post commander. In addition, he belonged to the American Legion where he faithfully served as past post commander and was awarded with an honorary lifetime membership for his 63 years of service.
Bob is survived by his son: Robert “Bob” Frasur II of Centerville; daughter: Vicki Sue Adkins and her husband Terry of Hagerstown; brother: Richard Frasur of Liberty; sisters: Shirley Frasur of Liberty, and Patricia Frasur Sizemore of Connersville: four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Jim and Jayna Soper of Liberty.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brothers: Charles, Eugene and Joseph Edward Frasur; sister: Mary Frasur Snyder.
A Military graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, May 23 2020 at 11 a.m. at West Point Cemetery, Liberty, Indiana. Memorial Contributions may be made to any of the following in Bob’s honor: The Eleanor Frasur Foundation Fund in care of the Union County Foundation, The V.F.W of Liberty, or The American of Liberty.

We (Jeff Marcum and I) are so sorry we didn't know in time to attend the service. We would have wanted to give Bob the respect and honor he deserved. Our sympathy to the family.
