Andrew James Gillett, 65, Liberty, Missouri passed away on July 10, 2015. A Celebration of his life will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 24 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, Missouri. It will conclude with full Military honors. A gathering will be held at The Landing following the service. Contributions may be given to the family to assist with arrangements. Andy was born October 16, 1949 in Sears, Michigan. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of American Legion Post 95. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Sanders. Survivors include daughter, Emily (Armando) Trillo; sons, James Gillett and Michael Gillett; parents, James and Lilah Gillett, brothers, Donald Gillett and Steven Gillett; sister Susan Gillett; several grandchildren and his former wife and friend, Sally Daniels.
