Betty Jean Foster, 89, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 17, 1928; the daughter of Theodore and Anna Belle (Elledge) Bolser. Betty married R.A. Foster on September 10, 1950 in Trenton, Missouri. She worked as a clerk many years for Missouri Public Service. Betty was a member of the South Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards, reading and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the South Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Chapman officiating. Betty is survived by her son, Kris Foster and wife Christine of Pryor, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Foster, Kristen Mileur, Kristian Foster, and Krisha Battles; 8 great grandchildren, Caeden, Aleia, Ellie, Hannah, Natalie, Logan, Callen, and Mikela; brothers, Bud Bolser of Purcel, Oklahoma, and Ronald Bolser of Red Bluff, California; sister, Donna O’Hare of Liberty, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.A. Foster, and 3 brothers, Jackie Bolser, Theodore Bolser, Jr., and Bill Bolser.
