Brian Robert Cavanaugh, 42, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 18, 2021. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held from 4:00-8:00pm, Monday, June 28th at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home, 119 E. Franklin St., Liberty, MO 64068. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Supporting Kids Foundation, a local foundation that helps families with children battling cancer, at https://supportingkids.org.
Brian was born May 13, 1979 in Kansas City, Missouri to Michael and Laura Cavanaugh. He graduated from North Kansas City High School. Brian loved motorcycles, classic arcades, Stand-Up Comedy, electronics, and cars. He also enjoyed watching movies, going hiking, and listening to music. Brian has been with his girlfriend, Emily Willson, since 2009. He worked at a variety of locations, including Gateway Computers, Sony, Sprint, and later the Improv Comedy Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cavanaugh.
Brian is survived by his girlfriend of 12 years, Emily Willson; his mother, Laura Cavanaugh; his son, Alexander Cavanaugh and his children, Scarlette and Everette; his brother, Michael Cavanaugh (Kristi); his beloved dog, Jackson; as well as his nephews and other relatives and friends.
