On February 18, 2020 Charlotte Faye Gutshall received her wings at the age of 80 while in residence at Pleasant Valley Manor. She was born January 9, 1940 in Drexel MO. Mrs. Gutshall was the daughter of the late Herman and Marjorie Hewitt.
She was preceded in death by her eldest brother Warren Hewitt, her sister Marion Kunkel (Glen), her daughter Ellen Scheer (Matthew) and her grandson Robert Jones.
She was a graduate of Central Missouri State University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Social Gerontology.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years Charles Gutshall, daughter Sherry Jones (Ron), son Chuck Gutshall (Carolyn) and her brother John Hewitt. She had many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was the proud grandmother of Sharla Hassing (Scott), Bridget Trice (Josh), Emma Scheer (Craig) and Margaret Cavey (Nickolas). Three great grandchildren were enriched by her life Madelynn Hassing, Lukas Hassing and Goodwin Cavey.
A memorial service was held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at Church-Archer-Pasley in Liberty MO.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to Liberty Hospital Hospice in her name.
