I first met Woody when he was in the Navy. Matter-of-fact, he was the best man at my wedding. He became part of my family immediately. It's been a pleasure and joy having Woody in our lives and have many many fun memories with him and our combined families. Woody will be missed. My love and and prayers to Vicky, Buffy, Troy and all the grandchildren.

I worked with woody on the hump when I first hires out for the railroad and years after. He was always smiling and just loved who he was. Glad I got to work with him, he was one of my favorites, of my 42 year railroad career.

to the Woodson Family,
I am writing to express my condolences to you for the loss of Woody. He was a generous and talented man, and I know I will remember his positive spirit and energy.
He benefitted many who knew and worked with him. I wish that I could pay him back for all of the car help he gave, but I’ll pass the favors on, remembering him as on as I work on friends’ cars.
