Cynthia Marie Browning, 58, passed away in her home in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on July 8, 2026. Cindy was born in San Rafael, CA, and also called Marshall and Liberty, MO home. She attended Southwest Missouri State University and the University of Central Missouri, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Psychology.
Cindy found great fulfillment in supporting children with special needs through the public school system. She deeply valued the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the children she worked with throughout her career.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Rory Franklin and Mary Miller. She is survived by her son, Brandon, and his spouse, Terri, along with their 2 children; her daughter, Lexie; and her three brothers. She will be buried at a later date.
