OBITUARY

Dean Herbert Estabrook

Dean Herbert Estabrook was born to Fred Estabrook and Edith (Dow) Estabrook on August 20, 1928 in Bangor, Maine. He was the youngest of eight children. Dean passed away on December 23, 2020 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Nora (Crockett) Estabrook of 71 years. Dean and Nora were united in marriage on September 24, 1949. Dean served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He served during the Korean War and served on the island of Iwo Jima. Dean worked for TWA from 1965 to 1990. He was a Master Electrician for TWA and worked at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida before he transferred to Kansas City. They lived in Liberty, Missouri. After Kansas City he was transferred to California where he retired and moved to Sanford, Florida. Dean and Nora moved back to Liberty, Missouri in December of 2002. Dean was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rites, Ararat Shriners and the American Legion. Dean loved to fish and put together jigsaw puzzles. Dean loved his computer and spent many hours playing games and doing research. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers. Dean is also survived by his three children, Stephen (Barbara) Estabrook, Michael Estabrook, and Barbie (Dan) Skipper. He is survived by five grandchildren, six step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, twelve step great grandchildren, five step great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on January 11, 2021 at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home (119 E Franklin ST, Liberty, MO 64068). Visitation from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and the funeral is at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri.
