Diane Leona Cochran

Diane Leona Cochran (Aunt Di, Mom), lived in Lathrop, MO. Formerly Osborn, MO where she attended school and graduated. She passed away peacefully June 27, 2025, at Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. Diane enjoyed spending time in nature, bird watching. walking trails, reading or taking care of farm animals. She worked as a CNA for many years but ended her working career as an automotive parts delivery driver. Family will have a celebration of life at a later time.

Diane is survived by many. Parents: Mary McDonald and Cecil Cochran; sister: Kimberly Cochran; brothers: Kevin Cochran, James Downs, Gary Downs; daughter: Shyann Downs; nieces: Samantha Sloan, Hailey Cochran, Cristi Sloan, Hannan Cochran; nephew: Devin Cochran.

Diane is preceded in death by husband: Greg Brumley; aunts: Margaret Cobb, Harriet Harris, Georganna Cochran, Ruthann Nicholson; uncles: Harold Cochran, Joe Cochran, Louis Cochran, Frank Cochran, and Jack Cochran; maternal grandparents: Gladys and Leo Cobb; paternal grandparents: Sally and Ralph Cochran.

Diane will be remembered by friends and family as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, mom and friend, whose heart knew no bounds. Her generosity, compassion and tireless work ethic were evident in everything she did. She loved freely and cared immensely for others and always showed up when someone needed her.

Her legacy of love and strength will live on in the lives she touched.
