Diane E. Patterson

Diane Ellen Patterson (nee Cooper) died unexpectedly in her home on December 14, 2015 in Liberty Missouri, at the age of 71. Diane is survived by her brother, Terry Cooper (Jodie Phibbs) of California, her stepchildren Tori K. Patterson (Helmi Hisserich) of Los Angeles, California and James B. Patterson (Cheryl Cleary) of Austin, Texas; Sister in Law Julia Jane Phillips of Panama City, FL and her granddaughter Madeline Hisserich-Patterson. She is preceded in death by her husband James Barkley Patterson of Liberty Missouri. Diane was born on January 25, 1944 in Burbank, California to William and Irene Cooper. She graduated from Burbank High School. She married Jim Patterson in Los Angeles, California in 1972. For over 30 years she worked at Home Savings of America in Irwindale, California. After retiring, she and Jim moved to Liberty Missouri where they attended Liberty Christian Church and contributed time to community service. A funeral is scheduled for January 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Liberty Christian Church. Rev. Dave Culver will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Diane's life.
