Gail Ann Dugdale, 76, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at North Kansas City Hospital.
A celebration of life will take place at Heritage Hall in Liberty on April 23, 2026, from 5-8pm.
Born in Chicago, IL on June 4th, 1949, Gail moved to Liberty in 1960 with her family, parents Joe and Eleanore Wally and sisters Diane (Tompkins), Patricia (Mulsoff), and Nancy (Short). Gail spent over 50 years as an entrepreneur.
Her early years were spent supporting her parents’ newspaper, The Sun Chronicle, before she founded Heritage Auction House with her husband Harry Dugdale, and later Main Street Goods and Goodies. Both businesses related to her lifelong passion for antiques.
Gail will be remembered for her strength, determination, and deep love of family.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband Harry.
She is survived by her children Joe and Josh, and her grandchildren Jordan, Josh, Ellie, Jay, and Reid, and her great grandchild Finnick.
