Leroy is survived by his wife, Bronwen Hinson, of the home; his stepson, Harrison Stallings, of Kansas City, Missouri; his beloved four-legged companions; his mother, Ruth Roe, of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Samantha Hinson, of Kansas; many nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family and friends.
Leroy was born on July 15, 1971, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1990 and always kept Wyandotte County close to his heart. Reading was always a passion of Leroy’s. Whether fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, horror, or science fiction, he was happy. As a very creative person, he loved to write, draw, reconfigure, and change things. Leroy was a man of character, tolerance, humor, and passion, and a self-effacing autodidact. He is greatly missed.
Per his request, his cremated remains will be scattered privately. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please continue to check the website and social for updates.
