

Jeanette Irene (Clark) Shannon, age 75, of Liberty, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. A visitation will be held on April 18, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home, 119 East Franklin Street, Liberty, MO. Following the Visitation, a Graveside Service and Burial will be held at Means Cemetery, 11604 Stockdale Road, Liberty, Missouri.
Jeanette was born December 7, 1949, to Jack and Irene Clark. She grew up in Gladstone, Missouri. On May 19, 1979, she married Bill Shannon at Second Baptist Church on the Square in Liberty, Missouri. She attended William Jewell College, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Science. She then worked as a substitute teacher and assembler at the Claycomo Ford Plant. Her most memorable job was being a stay-at-home mom.
Jeanette and Bill had several grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was active in Girl Scouts and 4H with her daughter, Brandy, and also loved horses. She owned four horses of her own, and enjoyed watching equestrian competitions. In her free time, she helped with the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Club and enjoyed camping. She also liked doing genealogy research, and was proud of her Scottish and Irish heritage.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene; and her brother, Mark.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Bill Shannon; her son, Chad (and wife, Lexie); her daughter, Brandy; her daughter-in-law, Christy; her grandchildren, Juliana, Patrick, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Ashley, and Maddy; as well as many other friends, loved ones, and extended family members.
