Johnnie "John" Earl Dailey

Johnnie Earl Dailey, age 77, of Cameron, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at McCorkle's Eatery & Pub, 109 West 3rd Street, Cameron, Missouri 64429.

John was born on November 2, 1945 in Altamont, Missouri to Ruth and Claude Dailey. He graduated from Gallatin High School, and was drafted into the United States Army not long after. John spent over 20 years in service to our country, and was stationed in Kansas, Georgia, Germany, and Korea at different times. After leaving military service in 1991, John became a truck driver. He retired permanently in October of 2020.

John married the love of his life, Paulette Carter, on February 14, 1971. Together, they had three children: Shawn, Brandi, and Samuel. John loved his family. When he wasn't with them, he greatly enjoyed fishing and attending tractor and horse pulls. John will be deeply missed at family holidays and events in the future.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Claude. He is survived by his wife, Paulette; his siblings, Claude, Gordon, and Pam; his children, Shawn, Brandi, and Samuel; his grandchildren, Johnathan Dailey, Bryan Gosa, Jason Gosa,Jordan Gosa, Konner Dailey, and Kinsley Dailey; and his great-grandchildren, Dalton Gosa and Emma Kate Dailey.
