Josie M. Smith, 77, Liberty, passed away January 29, 2015. Josie was born in Kearney, MO. and spent many years as a Tupperware dealer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald D. Smith in 2012 and a son, Larry D. Smith in 2014. Survivors include her son, Jerry Smith and wife Cindy of Kansas City, MO.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith of Yukon, OK.; sisters, Martha Talbot of Liberty, MO and Grace Brown of Independence, MO.; Grandchildren: Chris, Walker, and Aftyn Smith and Kellie Halbert; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at the funeral chapel, 119 E. Franklin St., Liberty, MO. Visitation will precede services at 12:00p.m. Interment in Muddy Fork Cemetery, Holt, MO.
