Linda Ann Grizzle

Linda Ann (Furns) Grizzle, age 76, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on March 27, 2024. Linda will have a graveside service and be buried alongside her husband, Dennis, on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Drive, Kansas City, MO 64156.

Linda was born on December 22, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, as an early Christmas present to her parents Gertrude and Fredrick Furns. She grew up in Denver and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1966. It was in Denver that Linda met Dennis Grizzle, the love of her life, whom she would marry on November 5, 1966. They would go on to spend 57 wonderful years together. During that time, they had two children, Jason and Valerie, whom they love very much, as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Linda was a homemaker, a Catholic, and a Denver Broncos fan, but most importantly, she cared for all those who she held dear.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and Fredrick.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis; her step-mother, Beverly Furns; her sisters, Karen Bonds of Kansas City, MO, Becky Furns Mayka, of Colorado, and Libby Furns of Colorado; her children, Jason Grizzle of Lawson, MO and Valerie (David) Chase of Warrensburg, MO; her grandchildren, Allyssa, Kevin, Alex, Isabella, Georgia, and Eli Grizzle and Vincent and Cameron Chase; her great-grandchildren, Nora, Quinton, Jonathan, Leavin, Colt, and Chase; and many other friends, family, and loved ones.

Linda will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Dr, Kansas City, MO 64156, at a later date.
