Mary Theodore McCoy

Mary T. McCoy, 82, Kansas City, MO formerly of Liberty, MO passed away September 27, 2016 at her daughter’s home where she had been residing. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1 at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty. Visitation will be 10: a.m. until service time. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., at Lexington Memory Gardens, Lexington, MO. Contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church Building Fund. On June 11, 1952 she married Charles A. McCoy. Mary was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She worked as an Avon Representative for over 20 years. Mary was an avid fan of the Chiefs and Royals. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. McCoy; parents, John Rostine, Sr. and Minnie (Pessetto) Rostine; sister, Maxine Thompson and brothers, John Rostine, Jr, Dominic Rostine, Barney Rostine and Robert Rostine. Survivors include sons, Robert (Barb) McCoy and Paul (Donna) McCoy; daughter Denise (Doug) Owens; grandchildren, Michelle (Justin) Cole, Michelle (Hugo) Delarosa, Lynsey Redmond and Cordell Owens; great grandchildren, Addison Cole and Ethan Cole and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rostine and Wilma Rostine.
