Mary D. Wheeler, 95, Kansas City, MO passed away September 25, 2016. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28 at Second Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, MO. Private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Liberty, MO. Memorial contributions may be directed to William Jewell College. Mary was born in Brazil and raised in Liberty, Missouri. On June 25, 1948 she married Myron L. Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. J.L. and Ruth Downing; son, Clarke Wheeler and daughter, Brindy Steward. Survivors include her husband, Myron L. Wheeler, son, Dan Wheeler, daughter, Joy Wheeler; five grandchildren, Michelle Barton, Emily Liu, Will Wheeler, Elizabeth Wheeler and Jojo Wheeler and two great grandchildren, Joseph Barton and Madison Barton.
