Matt was an amazing person with a spirit that was dazzling. By just being himself, he was a great teacher. I worked with him for over 4 years and he made me a better person just by knowing him.

I've know Matt for over 5 years. I'll never forget his smile. Every day at work he would have a smile on his face even if we were having a bad day I would look at him and see the biggest smile. I will miss you so much!

Matt was one of the greatest people put on this earth. He was a dear and close work friend that always knew how to make me laugh. Matt and I worked together for 5 years always in the same department . We became great friends over the years. I will always remember how funny and kind spirited Matt was. Matt was the kind of person that would help you out in any way he could. Heres a Funny memory to share. When Cher's song "Believe" came on the radio in the warehouse we would just look at each other and sing it in a funny voice. Matt, although your time was cut short, I will always cherish all the great memories we made. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

Matt was a sweet person, willing to help anyone who came along.
He loved sports, he was always excited come time for Royals to start, Chiefs and the Chicago Blackhawks, where he would grow his hair out until finals. Matt loved Dr Pepper I would always tell him on last break Dr Pepper time because he always drank one for that extra push to get through last few hours. He also loved his float trips, we all loved to hear his stories when he got back about how much fun he had.
Matt will be missed dearly, not so often you find someone so nice and caring as he was.

I remember when I was visiting with you and Tim in Missouri. We had dinner together and you told Jon and me that you had to finish up dinner pretty soon as you were going to Smithville Lake to go "fishing". You didn't seem like the outdoorsy type, so, being curious, I asked more questions. Finally Tim and you confessed it was a "drinking beer with my buddies adventure" with very few fish involved. I thought it was hilarious. We finished dinner quickly and off you went . I am sure many fun and happy memories were made at Smithville Lake. Hope your fishing excursions are continuing in heaven! Love you! Eileen and Jon
