Patricia Joanne Harper

Patricia graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Salina, Kansas. She married the love of her life Donald R. Harper on August 1, 1959, in Salina. They first lived in Louisiana, where their first three children were born. They later moved to Salina, and in 1966 made their home in Kansas City, where their two youngest children were born.

Her children were her greatest accomplishments. She enjoyed family gatherings and trips to visit her brothers with enthusiasm and joy. Patricia loved going to the movies, attending car shows, watching crime TV, and all things potatoes. Her laughter and smile were always the life of the party.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Harper; her parents; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Donald; children – Dawn Samples, Kansas City, Mo.; Donald Jr. and Sherry Harper, Kansas City, Mo.; Dave and JoAnn Harper, Kansas City, Mo.; and Danielle and Paul Walters, Lathrop, Mo. Grandchildren – Josh Samples, Kansas City. Mo.; Justin and Fernanda Samples, Prairie Village, Kan.; Adam Harper, Olathe, Kan.; Gracie Walters and Wyatt Walters, Lathrop, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren and eleven nieces/nephews. Her brothers – Bob and Shirley Johnson, Sun City, Arizona and Jim and Kathy Johnson, Salina, Kansas.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2025, from 3-5 p.m. at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, 119 East Franklin, Liberty, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will follow.
