I've always thought of my Aunt Kaye as a tower of strength and strong moral character. She was professional in all of her dealings and dressed impeccably. She had the best laugh and a great sense of humor. She also made the best homemade pimento cheese sandwiches and I don't even like normal pimento cheese. But, she made it every day for a week when I stayed with her as a child. She took me for my first McDonald's burger and also on my first trip to Toys R Us. I've missed having her in my adult life, but know she would have been there for me if I ever needed her. She's surely in Heaven, for in my eyes she was a saint.
