I love you Theresa! Everyday is harder than the last. We never had a fairy tale relationship because of our inability to let go of the past but I want you to know that for the 17 years you were a part of my life, I never wanted anything more than to bring you happiness. You gave me our two beautiful boys who are almost men themselves now, you also let me share in the love and joy of helping to raise your 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I miss you more than you may ever know! I hope you know how much you mean to me, you are my everything💔

I met Theresa about twelve years ago, and she was sweet and down too earth, I hadn't seen her since but I have always remembered her and thought of her as family, her sister is one of my good friends. My heart is heavy for the lost of of her. My heart is heavy for my friend and all those who loved her dearly. But, you Rest In Peace Theresa and you will be missed.

I first met Theresa Christman in Liberty at Preferred Family in 2016 doing SATOP classes for unfortunately a DUI. I knew Theresa was a kind, beautiful soal on her first day. I only had a few classes with her when my sessions were finished, and wished I could have got to know her better. Well I started a new job on the night shift at Hallmark the beginning of this year. Low and behold one night she walked right up to me and asked very discreetly "did you go to Preferred Family?" I smiled big along with her and said "yes how have you been? We chatted for a minute or two and caught up a bit. I was fortunate to hangout with her a couple of times and message back and forth here and there. My 8 year old daughter met her just once and fell in love with her. We will and are missing her very much😓.

Sometimes in life you meet someone & you know immediately that they were destined to be a part of your life. Theresa walked right into mine. She said I was the rift to her raft. I agreed. We spent the last 4 months laughing when it was funny. Crying when it was sad. And driving people around us crazy all along the way! I will never forget her. I will keep her memory alive in the hilarious memories I will share. The only joy I find in this tragedy is that she is now with her brother. I know how much she missed him. My heart breaks for the loss of a Mother. A Daughter. A sister. A friend. All the things she is. Her tragic end will not go unnoticed. If we quit accepting this. If we teach our children to never accept it. I know that I will NEVER again accept excuses and make assumptions when I suspect domestic violence. Theresa, rest easy my sweet friend. You've now got your own team of soldiers. We will march in your honor. We will carry this torch so that we don't have to keep losing beautiful women.
"We've got to fight for our lives, before it becomes someone else's job."(Emma Gonzalez)
I will miss you today. I will miss you tomorrow. I will miss you forever.

Although, I only met this beautiful soul a few times, she was an amazing mother, sister, daughter and friend. She helped me recently, talking me through losing my only brother 6 months ago. My heart breaks for everyone that was blessed to have this Angel in their lives. Theresa "starshine", you will be truely missed, forever loved and always remembered. Rest easy sweet soul.
