Anna Marie Johnson Luther

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Methodist Church, 7394 Shiloh Road, Liberty, NC. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Methodist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Anna was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church and worked with her husband at the Dave Luther Insurance Agency. She was a faithful volunteer with the ERHS Band Boosters and Liberty Boy Scout Troop 502. "Mama Anna" loved spending time with her granddaughters, especially taking them on secret adventures. She loved gardening, planting flowers, her dogs, the Christmas Season and everything that went along with it.

She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Frances Upchurch Johnson; and was also preceded in death by her husband, David Luther.

Surviving are her sons, Michael Luther (Cathy) and Kevin Luther (Susan Daniel); granddaughters, Ashley Adkins (Hunter), Rori Luther, and Dorothy Luther; great-grandson, Bryson Adkins; sister, Gail Godwin; and brother, David Johnson (Lisa).

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Methodist Church, PO Box 774, Liberty, NC 27298.
