Mrs. Annie Ellison Daniel

After several years of declining health, Annie was called to be one of “Gods Angels” Wednesday, February 10, 2010. She was 87 and a resident of Carolina Commons. Annie enjoyed working with the Julian Women’s Auxiliary and Julian Vol. Fire Dept. where her late husband Max Lee Daniel was a volunteer fireman. Annie was born and raised in Stokesdale. Prior to her declining health, she was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, visiting sick shut-in’s and always had a smile for everyone. She loved her family and looked forward to “get togethers’ and was a hard working, caring mother.

She is survived by one daughter; Gloria Hammer, of Liberty, five sons; Bob Daniel of Casa Grande, Arizona, Jerry Daniel of Kernersville, Mike Daniel and Kenny Daniel both of Liberty and Devon Daniel of Greensboro. She was the proud grandmother of her six grandchildren and her seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, February 12, at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian, N.C.
