Barbara was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She was well known for her flower gardening and loved taking care of her cats. She worked in personnel and human resources for Liberty Furniture, Beaman's Corporation and Ultracraft for many years. Some of her most cherished moments were the weekends with "Nawmaw" when her grandchildren would come and stay. Following retirement she became the ultimate "MawMaw" and best friend for her grandchildren before and after school. Barbara looked forward to family vacations every year whether it was the beach or the mountains, she loved to travel.
