Basil Teague Carter

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Howard Spray officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

He was the son of the late William and Bertha Teague Carter, and he was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Maxine York Carter and brothers, Rev. Norman Carter and William Carter.

Basil is survived by his daughter, Sue Carter Tallant of Graham; son, Kevin Carter of Clayton; and granddaughter, Erica Tallant.
